Elbit Systems (headquartered in Haifa), Rafael in the surrounding area
Elbit is one of Israel's largest defence contractors and is based here, which makes Haifa a serious employer of electro-optics, avionics and systems engineers.

Zim Integrated Shipping Services, Haifa Port and the newer bay container terminal
Zim is headquartered in the city and the port is Israel's main northern gateway. Maritime, customs, freight-forwarding and terminal operations employ at scale and hire in English.
