Jobs in Casablanca

The sectors hiring, the employers to know, and how work really runs here.

Casablancaruns on a handful of strong industries. If you’re job-hunting or weighing a move, here’s where the opportunities (and the big-name employers) are.

Top industries & employers

Banking & finance

Attijariwafa Bank, Banque Centrale Populaire, BMCE Bank of Africa, CDG Capital, Bourse de Casablanca

Morocco's banking sector is headquartered here and has expanded aggressively across francophone West Africa — Attijariwafa and BMCE operate in more than twenty African countries, which is why Casablanca positions itself as a gateway rather than a market.

Casablanca Finance City

Regional HQs, asset managers, insurers, law and audit firms

A designated financial district with its own company status, granting a corporate tax exemption for five years and a preferential rate afterwards to firms whose business is oriented outside Morocco. Narrow by design: domestic business does not qualify.

Automotive & aerospace manufacturing

Stellantis Kenitra, Renault, Aptiv, Yazaki, Safran, Bombardier (Casablanca aerospace hub)

Morocco is now the largest car manufacturer in Africa, and the wiring, seating and aerospace supply chains cluster around Casablanca and the Kenitra–Tanger corridor. Engineering and quality roles here are genuinely plentiful.

Offshoring & shared services

Casanearshore, Capgemini, Atos, Intelcia, Webhelp/Concentrix, Sopra Steria

Casanearshore in Sidi Maârouf is one of Africa's largest offshoring parks. French-language IT, finance and customer operations for European clients are the volume employer for graduates and for francophone foreigners.

Ports, logistics & phosphates

Marsa Maroc, OCP Group, Maersk, CMA CGM

The port of Casablanca handles a large share of Morocco's trade, and OCP — the state phosphate group and one of the world's largest fertiliser producers — is headquartered in the city with industrial sites at Jorf Lasfar down the coast.

Retail, FMCG & telecoms

Marjane, Label'Vie, Cosumar, Lesieur Cristal, Maroc Telecom, Orange Maroc, inwi

Consumer businesses run their national operations from Casablanca because it is where a third of Morocco's formal purchasing power sits. Marketing and commercial careers are concentrated here to a degree that surprises people expecting Rabat.
