The largest automotive production centre in Türkiye — the assembly plants sit west and north of the city with a deep supplier belt around them, and they set the city's shift rhythm.
Textiles & silk
Weavers, dyehouses, technical textiles, the Koza Han trade
Bursa was the western terminus of the silk road and the Ottoman silk capital; the industry survives as a large modern textile and technical-fabric sector alongside the historic han trade.
Food & beverage
Uludağ (soft drinks and mineral water), Sütaş (dairy)
Two national brands built on Uludağ's springs and the Marmara dairy belt, plus the chestnut and fruit processing that gives the city its sweets.

İnegöl is Türkiye's furniture capital, exporting across the Middle East and Central Asia — a genuine regional specialism that has nothing to do with the car industry.

ULUTEK Teknopark (Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi), automotive R&D centres
Smaller than Ankara's or Istanbul's and heavily automotive-flavoured, but the same Law No. 4691 income-tax exemption for R&D and software staff applies inside the zone.
